Automation and Controls Engineer (Systems Engineering)

As a Controls Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of designing and integrating PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems that enable our clients to launch and grow with confidence. - Design and integrate automation systems using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA platforms
- Own automation projects end-to-end: from design to commissioning to ongoing support
- Troubleshoot and solve complex control system challenges with practical, simple solutions
- Design operator interfaces that are clear, intuitive, and reduce training time
- Collaborate directly with clients and teammates to deliver lean, scalable solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, or a closely related field
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or control systems
- Proficiency in PLC programming and system integration
- Hands-on experience with SCADA or DCS platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication with clients and teams
- Ability to design and deploy solutions using cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Familiarity with Python or SQL for automation data handling and SCADA integration
- Experience with motion control systems (motors, actuators, pneumatics)
- Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC, NFPA, and NEC
- Exposure to advanced process control or optimization
- Experience in regulated industries such as pharma, food/beverage, or energy
